Si-Tex Chart Plotter Symbols
Select your region from the "Options" menu, either US or International, whichever applies to you.
Chart Plotter symbols appear as a dot, circle or a boat. The symbol associated with the boat will have an arrow pointing in the direction the boat is traveling.
The length of the arrow indicates an estimate of how far the boat will travel in the next ten minutes based on current conditions.
